born January 24, 1963 in Beaufort, SC to the late Barney L. Floyd, Sr. and Barbara Corley Floyd. Barney loved the outdoors, and was an avid sports fan. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

born January 24, 1963 in Beaufort, SC to the late Barney L. Floyd, Sr. and Barbara Corley Floyd. Barney loved the outdoors, and was an avid sports fan. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Surviving are his sisters, Sheryl Floyd Sturkie (Pete) of West Columbia and Everette Floyd Kuhn (Fred) of Beaufort; three nephews, Jack W. Smith, III of West Columbia, Joshua R. Gabrovic of West Columbia, Bradley Sturkie (Shannon) of Welcome, NC and a niece, Danielle Sturkie of Lexington, NC.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with interment in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church Cemetery. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Ed Harmon. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Jack Smith, Joshua Gabrovic, Bradley Sturkie, Cliff Corley, Teddy Huff, Jimmy Day, Tommy Boatwright and Edwin Miles Corley.
